Vintage Westmoreland black amethyst glass plate featuring the "Open Lace Heart" pattern with a central heart-shaped well surrounded by a border of interconnecting heart shapes. The plate is hand-painted with a yellow floral design. Made from black amethyst milk glass, which displays a deep purple hue when held to strong light. Measures approximately 8 in. x 7.5 in. Markings observed on the reverse.
