A vintage L.E. Smith black amethyst glass creamer and sugar bowl set in the Mt. Pleasant pattern, circa 1930s. Features the Double Shield design on the handle mounts and below the creamer's spout. Crafted from black amethyst glass, revealing a deep red or purple hue in light. The scalloped edges are a signature design element. Dimensions: creamer approx. 2 1/2 inches high; sugar bowl 5-5 1/4 inches wide handle-to-handle. Condition consistent with age and use.
