Vintage black amethyst glass bowl in the Mt. Pleasant pattern by the L.E. Smith Glass Company. Produced during the Depression glass era (1920s-1930s). Features scalloped edges, handles, and a 'double shield' design on the sides. Appears opaque black but displays a purple hue under strong light. Diameter measures 8.5 inches. Good condition with wear consistent with age.
