Vintage black amethyst glass planter produced by the L.E. Smith Glass Company. Features a Greek Key motif around the rim and stands on three sleek, angular feet. When held to light, the black amethyst glass reveals a rich purple hue. Intended as a jardiniere or small planter. Measures 5 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. Likely produced between the 1930s and 1950s.
