LE Smith Black Amethyst pedestal candy dish made of deep purple glass that appears black. Features a scalloped edge rim and ribbed pedestal base. Measures approximately 4.5 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter. Commonly produced during the Depression era, circa 1930s to 1940s. Condition appears consistent with age and use.
