Japanese Imari porcelain plate with scalloped edges, featuring polychrome and gilded ornamentation. The plate is decorated with alternating panels of floral and bird motifs in traditional Imari colors of cobalt blue, iron red, and gold over a white ground. The underside displays hand-painted blue designs and a maker's mark at the center. Wear consistent with age and use.

A&S Auction Company offers both in-house shipping and third-party shipping options. Buyers may use our in-house service, work with our preferred shipping provider, or arrange pickup through a shipper of their choice. Requesting Shipping

Please request shipping when registering for the auction or contact us within five (5) days after the auction closes at asauctionco@gmail.com. Include your name, auction name, invoice number, and the lot numbers requiring shipment.

Shipping Costs and Payment

All packing, handling, shipping, and applicable insurance charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are separate from the auction purchase price. Purchases must be paid in full before they can be shipped or released to a third-party provider.

For in-house shipping, payment arrangements are handled directly with A&S Auction Company. Third-party shipping charges are paid directly to the selected provider. A&S Auction Company does not set, control, or guarantee third-party shipping rates.

We strongly encourage buyers to obtain a shipping estimate before bidding. Purchases will not be canceled or refunded solely because shipping costs are higher than expected.

Alternative Shippers and Processing

Buyers are welcome to use an alternative shipping company. Your selected provider must coordinate pickup with A&S Auction Company before arriving.

Processing and delivery times vary depending on the items, packing requirements, and shipping method. Please direct shipping questions to A&S Auction Company for in-house shipments or to your selected provider for third-party shipments.
