Vintage 1930s L.E. Smith black amethyst glass trophy vase in the Art Deco style. Known as a 'loving cup' vase, it features a black appearance achieved with manganese, which reveals a purple hue when held to direct light. The vase is 9 inches tall with a 5-inch diameter and includes two handled sides with a ruffled rim. Excellent example of period glasswork.
